It means the broker confirmed it received your removal request. It does not mean the listing is gone. We don't run routine rescans to check whether a listing actually disappeared, so we never layer a "removed" or "verified" claim on top of a confirmation. We collect the minimum needed to find and file removals for your listings: things like your name, city, state, and email. We never sell, share, license, or broker your data, and we don't share "anonymized" analytics with third parties either. Your information goes only to the specific broker we're filing a request with, to the infrastructure that stores and processes it under encryption, and to the tools we use to verify pages and carry out the filing, all under the authorization you give us. It's encrypted at rest, and you can ask us to delete your account and its data.

No, never, for either, under any circumstance. Some brokers require government-ID verification through their own portal, and brokers like that are not part of our proof-backed paid roster today: our proof bar needs a receipt we obtain ourselves, and an ID check only you can complete doesn't produce one. If a broker like that is ever added to the roster, the ID step would stay yours to finish on the broker's own secure portal, and your dashboard would mark it "Action needed" until you do. Either way, your ID never touches our servers, network, or logs, and we never accept it.

It varies by broker, and we won't publish a deadline we can't stand behind. Some brokers act within days, some take weeks, some never reply. We pace your requests over several days so confirmation emails don't flood your inbox, and we track each one honestly: Scheduled → Submitted → Submission confirmed. Where a broker ends on a success page, you can open that screenshot in your dashboard once it's confirmed and the screenshot clears our no-personal-info review.

Every request goes out as your own request. You give us clear, written, revocable authorization, and we file using your information, directed by that authorization. We are not a separate legal claimant with our own interest in your data. For people-search and public-records brokers, the broker generally treats a completed opt-out as a voluntary courtesy rather than a legally guaranteed deletion, because the underlying data comes from public records the broker keeps re-pulling. So the removal is real, but reversible. We never describe it as permanent or legally guaranteed for this class of broker. That honesty is the reason the quarterly re-removal exists.

We focus on people-search and data-broker sites: the ones selling your address, phone number, and similar details. If you're dealing with a criminal-record listing, that's a different process, and we don't want to imply we cover it when we don't.

Both, honestly. Software drives most of the filing, but our team steps in by hand when a broker needs it: a stuck CAPTCHA, an ambiguous page, a result that needs a human check before we call it confirmed. We don't describe this as either a fully hands-off pipeline or fully manual labor, because it's neither.
